She believes that true connections happen when entering and understanding each client’s unique worldview. Amy integrates Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavior, Mindfulness, and Interpersonal techniques to help clients build empowerment, strengthen resilience, and experience meaningful healing. At the end of each session, Amy facilitates a Word of the Week with clients to encourage self-awareness, insights, and personal growth.

Bio:

Amy has spent the last 10 years working as a Behavior Consultant providing advocacy and support for clients in the home, school, and community setting. Assertiveness training, relaxation techniques, social skills, time-management, and parent/teacher engagement has been of focus. Amy is excited to bring her eclectic style into therapy at Dawson’s Counseling & Performance!

Born and raised Hoosier! Amy enjoys spending time with her family and going on new adventures, listening to music, decorating, cooking new recipes, staying active, being outside, and an Indy sports enthusiast.
